Panasonic Blu-ray Recorders
Panasonic are the first company to develop, test, and sell Blu-ray recorders, although it won't be long before other manufacturers catch up. Their range of recorders has set a standard which will be difficult to match for many manufacturers, never mind beat it.
Panasonic are not just at the top of their game in being the first producers of Blu-ray recorders, but they are actually ahead of the game in other ways. It would have been difficult enough just to develop the technology for recording, but they have gone a few steps further. The models that they have brought out have twin tuners for a start, so simultaneous dual recording and watching is a fairly standard although very handy affair.
The biggest problem with some of the models in this range is the manuals that come with them - they might be straightforward, but with so much functionality it may take a while for it to sink in that they do practically everything.
